HAPPY NEW YEAR !

It’s hard to believe another one has gone by. I am sure the world is turning faster!

I have spent the last 2 weeks producing the debut album by a bunch of Long Beach/Hollywood/OC Desperados called Confederacy Of Horsepower. This is the first full -length album that I have produced for another artist and I have had a lot of fun doing it. The guys have a fantastic work ethic and some great songs. If you like loud guitars, thunderous drums and in yer face vocals, then this is the band for you. No pro tools in sight, this music was recorded raw, live and fast the only way it should. They kinda remind me of The New York Dolls meets Circus Of Power partying with Junkyard.  The album will be out early 2008.

I rounded out New Years Eve by playing a solo show opening up for the legendary Cheap Trick, an unbelievable way to bring in 2008.  Please check back for some video footage…

Next year is shaping up to be even busier that this one for me. It all starts in January with The Almighty 20th anniversary tour and I promise that finally I will be releasing my third solo album and there will be lots of touring to back it up.

So here’s to everyone that I have toured with, drank with, fought with, wrote with, recorded with and all of you who came to the shows, bought the music and kept me believing… As they say in Scotland “ Have a very, very Happy Hogmanay.”
